Check out this idea from project: domestic bliss for creating art with paint samples. Clever!
At My Life's Little Pieces, Deb gives us a tour of her daughters' bedroom that she decorated. Beautiful job. I especially love how she used shadow boxes for storing stuffed animals.
Another wonderful idea: This one is from The Berry's Patch. She does a great before and after for hiding electronics... the stuff that can easily overrun a room.

HI...new to your blog. I enjoyed seeing some of your staging. I absolutely love Decorating Cents where they redesign a room. I laugh cause I did that out of necessity many years ago and helped friends....we didn't know what it was called. You must have a wonderful job. I would love to do it!
