As soon as he's off the school bus every afternoon from kindergarten, Jude wants to know if I think Max is home. Can Max come over to play? Or maybe he could go over Max's?
Max lives across the street. They are two boys who are only children. They are in the yard playing Star Wars, with Jude a Jedi Knight and Max, Darth Vader. The Jedi is saying this is the end for Darth.
I think he's pretending. I hope he is. We need Max.

Oh boy. This reminds me of a situation we had 8 years ago. We lived in an older neighborhood and the only child was my youngest daughter's age who lived across the street. Both girls would actually sit in the driveway for the other one to come home. Then that family was transferred. It was terrible!! Crushing to our youngest.
We moved shortly after that ourselves to a neighborhood with more children. The move has been good for us and her.
It's wonderful your son has a best friend across the street. Convenient for mom too to not have to taxi him all around to other friend's homes.
Blessings,
Sher
I am your father.....actually just a big blogger fan! Stop by and pick up some blog love I have waiting for you!
LOL! Oooooh to have friends in the neighborhood! I used to LOVE meeting up with friends. We don't have any around here for the boys to play with - thankfully they have each other.
